Memories of glaciers recovered from the past like bubbles of air trapped in ice cores fade into glacially slow ambient soundscapes.

Ice Cores tells the story of a road trip to a rave near the Snæfellsjökull glacier in Iceland in a dying car alongside the poet Robert Bridges' memories of the Rhone Glacier over 100 years earlier.

Jim Purbrick is a software engineer and musician. An active member of Extinction Rebellion Brighton Drummers, Jim helped push the Lightship Greta from Brighton to London in 2020.
